The Genepyl liqueur is the most famous of the Western Alps, it is obtained from the plants of Arthemisia mutellina. Once it was collected on the most inaccessible and dangerous slopes of the mountains, today, since it has been under nature protection, it is cultivated in the entire upper Maira Valley on alpine fields above 1600 m. Sensory perception; Aroma: Fruity and floral, aromatic and penetrating with camphor-like notes. Taste: Fruity with a bitter and slightly astringent finish.
