A few drops of Magic Velvet help create a fine, compact and velvety foam on top of your cocktail, delivering a clean and stable result without changing the drink’s flavour. It is a ready-to-use, plant-based and 100% alcohol-free product, designed for anyone who wants a “cocktail bar” finish at home, without using egg white or other alternatives that may alter aroma and texture.
For best results, add a few drops directly into the shaker along with the other ingredients. The key step is to shake first without ice for a few seconds, allowing the foam to build and become silky; then add ice and shake again to chill and complete the mix. When you pour into the glass, the foam will form evenly on the surface.
If you don’t have a shaker, Magic Velvet also works with a small milk frother or a mini blender: add a few drops to the mixture and blend for a few seconds to obtain a light, smooth foam.
The recommended dosage is 1% (g/kg). In practice, for a “classic” cocktail it’s best to start with 2–4 drops and increase to 4–6 drops for larger drinks or if you want a more pronounced foam. The best approach is to start low and adjust slightly on the next attempt, as each recipe reacts differently.
