The name of the distillery "Kurayhoshi" means "life is good".
The distillery is located on the side of the Sea of Japan where there is a large annual temperature range and the maturation of the spirits proceeds rapidly.
"The Hakuto" means "the white rabbit" and takes its name from a myth of the Tottori prefecture, where the distillery is located.
A total of 14 botanicals are used for this gin, including typically Japanese ones such as cherry blossoms, yuzus, sansho pepper, green tea and nashi pears.
Nose
Sweet-spicy, fresh, complex.
Palate
Fruity, pears, notes of melon, hints of juniper, grapefruit with a slightly peppery, long and persistent finish.
