The Gran Lusso Limited Edition 150 Anni is a Vermouth created by the two Masters of the Martini house: Ivan Tonutti and Giuseppe Musso, with Barbera, Trebbiano and Moscato base wines, based on an ancient recipe of 1904 known as Extract 94 (the first herbal extract of Martini!) and then aged, for 8 years, in glass demijohns; a Vermouth with exceptional aromas and delicately bitter-sweet, spicy and rich taste, produced in a single batch of 150,000 bottles for the whole world.
An intense brown color with amber reflections, it is characterized by citrus notes of orange, followed by floral hints of withered violet and intense balsamic notes that are revealed with cinchona and rhubarb, in a background of aromatic woods. The taste is defined by an inimitable sweet/bitter combination, in which a fan of aromatic herbs embraces floral memories of peony and geranium, on a long finish of citrus memories.
Drink it smooth or with ice, accompanied by a slice of orange or lemon peel, or mixed with other distillates to create a fantastic Negroni or an excellent Americano.
