Macaronesian White Gin is the only gin produced in the Canary Islands, part of the island collective called Macaronesia. The term also includes other Atlantic islands and archipelagos, including Cape Verde, the Azores and Madeira.
The botanicals used to aromatize gin are totally indigenous - juniper grows abundantly on these islands - while water is filtered drop by drop by the volcanic rocks that make up the landscape of the Canaries. The strong minerality of the water helps to make the Macaronesian White Gin extremely delicate and soft.
