Maxi Milian Gin is aromatic to the smell and dry to the taste. You can perceive the bitterness of coriander, the softness of grapefruit, the sweetness of raisins, the determination and grit of black tea, all wrapped in a slight hint of myrtle. Balanced and complex, it lends itself to mixing thanks to the dry scents that support the juniper.
The production of Maxi Milian Gin starts from a base of high quality Italian cereal alcohol, distilled three times with continuous distillation to allow optimal alcohol rectification. The three main botanicals of the base are infused into the alcohol: Juniper, Angelica root and Coriander seeds. After a given infusion time, the infusion itself is distilled thus obtaining the base on which the gin will be built. The other botanicals are infused separately in a hydroalcoholic solution. The gradation and timing of the infusion varies according to the type of botany being infused. Once the correct intensity is obtained, we proceed to cold filtration and the addition of the right amount of infusion in the base distillate for the creation of the gin. After the creation, the product is left in a rest period to allow the gin to better amalgamate the aromas and the consequent organoleptic profile. All infusions are natural, which means that the actual product (dried in most cases) is infused and artificial equivalent flavors are never used. Furthermore, there is no addition of sugars.
