Liquore di Finocchietto Calabro

Finocchietto Calabro is made by macerating wild fennel flowers picked in September in the hills of Cariati, when half the flower buds are open. Harvesting is hard work on the steep slopes called "timpe" where wild fennel grows. It is the only liqueur made solely from cold-processed wild fennel flowers. A powerful natural digestif, also served before meals and at room temperature.
