Calabrian rural gin characteristic for the use of the "low-altitude" juniper and PGI lemons of Rocca Imperiale is presented in a torbate version. This is obtained by burning the juniper with peat coming from the Sila which gives it a very small smoky aftertaste. Recommended to taste smooth instead of a whiskey or in a Gimlet (gin and lime juice).
