Handcrafted in small batches at the Angeac Distillery in France, Magellan Gin starts with the triple distillation of French wheat and demineralized spring water. This neutral spirit is put into a small artisanal copper pot along with the eleven sundried botanicals for a fourth distillation. It is here that the gin is able to infuse itself with the intricate flavour of the botanicals. These 11 botanicals include cloves, cinnamon, coriander, cardamom, iris root and flower, cassia, liquorice, juniper berries, orange peel, grains of paradise, and nutmeg. The natural blue colour of the gin comes from its infusion with natural iris root and flowers, giving the gin a beautiful hue and a crisp, unrivalled taste.
