Whisky Wild Turkey 81 Proof Bourbon

Wild Turkey 81 Proof Bourbon is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey produced by the historic Wild Turkey distillery in the heart of Kentucky. Bottled at 40.5% ABV / 81 proof, it represents a softer and more approachable expression of the Wild Turkey style, while still maintaining the rich, spicy and vanilla-driven character typical of the distillery.

It is made from a high-rye grain mash and matured in heavily charred new American oak barrels. This ageing process helps develop notes of vanilla, caramel, toasted wood, sweet spices and a pleasant aromatic depth.

On the nose, it is spicy and woody, with hints of vanilla, oak, caramel and coffee. On the palate, it is smooth yet characterful, with notes of honey, fudge, caramel, spices, sweet cream and a light toasted nuance. The finish is warm, balanced and slightly peppery, with returning notes of caramel, coffee and charred oak.

Wild Turkey 81 Proof Bourbon is ideal to enjoy neat, over ice or in cocktails. Thanks to its balanced structure and lower strength compared to Wild Turkey 101, it works very well in classic bourbon-based cocktails such as Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour, Mint Julep and Boulevardier.
