Borducan - Orange Elixir

There are places and stories that are difficult to forget, such as the Elixir Borducan herbal liqueur, linked to the spectacle that strikes at the end of the Via delle Cappelle del Rosario of the Sacro Monte di Varese.
His recipe, still jealously kept secret today, was developed by the Garibaldian Davide Bregonzio on his return from Algeria.
his Elixir that Davide opened a shop in the village of Santa Maria del Monte in 1872.
Later, in 1924 the heirs built a liberty building which still houses the Caffè del Borducan today. From father to son, from Anita to Bruno Bregonzio who perfected the recipe we still know today.
