This line of grappas takes its name from the famous tavern of father Marcel in the center of Aosta where signatures and writings of Alpini on the walls have attracted tourists and famous people over the years.
Papa Marcel's grappa has remained the same: produced with traditional steam distillation processes using aromatic or "medicinal" herbs, roots and fruits.
The digestive properties of star anise, licorice, pine bud, gentian and arquebuse are recognized.
