Gin Mi&Ti - Mi

Gin Mì, designed as an ideal base for the most famous and classic cocktails, the Dry Martini, is a very dry, almost pungent Gin.
A Gin dominated Juniper, used 80% of the blend, blended expertly with some traditional botanical - Sage, Licorice, Rosa Damascena, Limone on the Italian Riviera - but decisive, original and unique thanks to the addition of Yuzu, the distinctive and fragrant Japanese citrus fruit, tea and Lapsang Souchong.
The botanicals are first macerated separately in high-quality alcohol bases from organic wheat, then mixed according to an exclusive recipe and finally re-distilled with the low-temperature vacuum distillation (Rotovap) technique.
The distillate is finally led to the gradation of 50 degrees, with the addition of pure water of Lurisia source.

Gin Mì – Tasting Notes

In apertura si coglie immediatamente il profumo del Ginepro Selvatico delle Colline Savonesi, complesso, resinoso, quasi pungente, i cui toni speziati sono avvolti dagli aromi legnosi e dolci della Liquirizia.


Al naso emerge subito anche il Limone della Riviera Ligure, i cui toni aspri sono tuttavia smorzati e resi più ampi e complessi dall’aggiunta della scorza di Yuzu.

Il frutto giapponese sprigiona un profumo elaborato e sofisticato, che richiama altri agrumi (pompelmo, arancia) ma soprattutto i toni tropicali, leggermente dolci, del frutto della passione.


In bocca riaffiora forte il Ginepro, accompagnato dal caratteristico profumo intenso e secco del Lapsang Souchong, il caratteristico thè affumicato proveniente dalle montagne della regione cinese del Fujian.


Il finale è lungo e secco, in perfetto equilibrio fra gli aromi dolci di Liquirizia e Rosa, quelli pungenti e freschi del Ginepro e degli agrumi e i sentori di legno e tabacco del Lapsang Souchong.
