Ki No Bi Go

KI NO BI GO Kyoto Dry Gin is a limited bottling to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the first edition of KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin. The name GO comes from the Japanese "five" and the 5th Anniversary message "五 周年" appears in relief on the label. Compared to the traditional version, this special edition has been bottled at 50 ° for a more decisive profile. Furthermore, the hinoki wood, used in the traditional version, is here replaced with Japanese red pine (“akamatsu”).

PROFILE: The nose is complex and fruity with notes of fresh yuzu and sansho and a softness similar to white chocolate given by gyokuro tea. On the palate it has a wonderful and sweet entry followed by spicy notes of sansho pepper, Akamatsu pine resin and citrus. The finish reveals notes of ginger and lemon with forest undertones of Akamatsu and juniper.
